Ford Foundation has been our donor since 2010.
To research the Sheng language in Kenya, develop Sheng-based digital platforms for youth entrepreneurship and empowerment, and build the capacity of Sheng-speaking radio presenters on FM stations
For research and documentation on the Sheng language, to build the capacity of Sheng-speaking radio presenters, and to empower youth through social media
To study the development and use of Sheng, the language of Kenyan youth, and to map the use of online platforms to capture land rights issues and access to natural resources by rural communities
To recognise a champion of democracy with project support to trace the roots of the Sheng language and culture and explore women's participation in its development
To develop an interactive digital platform that promotes and facilitates dialogue and civic engagement among low-income urban youth and mobilizes their collective voice on national issues
To expand digital media platforms, promote content building and develop online organizing strategies
